**Job Summary**
This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. He/She may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.
- ** Job Type**:Part-Time - Permanent
- ** Work Location**:12424 Dixie Road Caledon ON
- ** Workdays**: Sunday to Thursday
- ** Shift Start**:12pm-5pm. Shift averages 3-5 hours a day. Start times/finish times may vary with operational need. Flexibility required.
- ** Pay rate**: Pay rate of $17.80/hr. (base rate of $16.65/hr. + an hourly bonus of $1.15).

**Responsibilities**:

- Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods.
- Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars.

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
- Ability to read and memorize postal codes.
- Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
- Warehouse experience - Preferred

**Compensation and Benefits**:

- Pay rate of $17.80/hr. (base rate of $16.65/hr. + an hourly bonus of $1.15).
- Automatic pay rate progression as per the existing Union Collective Agreement (top rate: $28.39/hr. after 48 months).
- Tuition reimbursement of up to $3,000 per semester.
- Health and dental benefits after 12 months of employment (commences on the first day of the month after meeting the requirement).
- 2 weeks of paid vacation after one year of service.
