**Collections Specialist**:
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Collections Specialist to join our world-class Accounting team in Canada. As a Collections Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring flawless financial operations and maintaining strong customer relationships. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your proven expertise and contribute to our ambitious mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

**Responsibilities**:

- Reconcile customer short payments
- Prepare monthly list for bad debt and Invoices not collectable
- Review daily reports to aid in the collection/reconciliation of accounts
- Update special terms spreadsheet as required
- Work well with other departments to resolve customer issues

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field required.
- 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Able to collaborate effectively with others and work autonomously
- Proficient in Excel
- Ability to type efficiently
