**Underground Mining IT Technician**

We are searching for an exceptional Sales Professional to support current customers and actively grow our business through new customer acquisition and expanding our foot print with existing customers. By prospecting, communicating value, developing long term relationships and closing deals in your territory, your success will play an integral role in building our long-term customer experiences while achieving sales revenue goals.

This is a contract position until December 31st, 2023, with possibility of extension.

**Key notes**:
1) This work will be done underground; you will be working underground in the mining environment.
2) Hours will likely be 10.5 - 12-hour shifts.
3) This is shift work with alternation between days and nights.
4) Schedule is likely 4 days on then 3 days off then flip from day shift to night shift (or Afternoon's). Subject to change at the customer's request.
5) Having your own transportation/vehicle is mandatory (to get to and from site only).

**Utilizing your technical skills you will**:

- Provide mobile support for end users such as Android Tablets/Phones as well as iPads/iPhones
- Perform network connections for desktops and printers
- Perform troubleshooting to determine and resolve the root cause of most hardware or software malfunctions at the deskside level
- Perform moves, adds, changes of computer equipment
- Follow documentation and direction as required by the project
- Provide proper and prompt updates on projects and documentation assigned on daily basis
- Be able to work safely in a fast paced environment.

**What we need**:

- A college or University education
- Two years of experience in a mining operations role and or desktop deployments, network troubleshooting and upgrades
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills both in person and over the phone
- A valid driver's license
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. regularly
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Availability for regular work assignments in the evening and on weekends
- 3-5yrs of experience preferred, but not a requirement.
- A knowledge of the Android OS and KNOX are an asset.
