The Senior Estimator, Commercial Construction will be responsible for providing accurate estimating, and subcontractor costing from the concept stage through to the contract letting and planning stage.

**Senior Estimator, Commercial Construction Responsibilities**:

- Prepare estimates, develop complete & accurate take-offs, and final estimate summaries.
- Contribute to and maintain cost databases, sub-trade partners, and supplier directories.
- Analyze proposal specifications and drawings to establish the proper scope of work.
- Perform and/or manage the quantity survey and pricing effort for the internal budget.
- Participate in periodic reviews and visits to projects as appropriate.
- Assist in the preparation and review of work plans as requested.
- Prepare conceptual budgets based on mínimal information.

**Senior Estimator, Commercial Construction Qualifications**:

- Five (5) years of estimating experience with commercial or institutional construction within Canada.
- Having a designation of CET will be considered an asset.
- Previous experience winning bids valued at/over $10 Million.
- Familiar with Canadian and local building codes and construction materials.
- Proficient in understanding unit costs and construction cost drivers.
