Journeyman Machinist

Lead Journeyman Machinist needed for our Trilad Machine Shop

Full Time, Monday to Friday with opportunities for additional hours

**Responsibilities**:

- Extensive knowledge of various machining centers and manual machines. Includes various sized VTL's, HBM, lathes and CNC's.
- Must be competent in AutoCad
- Must be competent in SolidWorks and able to create CNC programs for various jobs types.
- Ability to coordinate work orders and maintain flow within the machine shop
- Ability to manage and coordinate a team of machinists and operations staff
- Coordinate machine maintenance with external vendors
- Must maintain tolerances and finishes as required per specifications and ensure quality standards are upheld throughout the machine shop
- Facilitate ISO 9001:2015 quality system requirements

Qualifications:

- **Journeyman Machinist**:

- **Management Experience - minimum 5 years**:

- ISO 9001:2015 experience
- Experience in a PVF machine shop is an asset
- High attention to detail
- Forklift and overhead crane experience is an asset
