**Join us as a Superintendent within our Life Sciences & Technology Division**

EllisDon carved out a new national construction group in 2021 with a focus on the construction of technical buildings such as Laboratories, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing facilities and Data Centers. We have completed over $2.5B in Data Centre projects and $16B in Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical buildings, we are strategically focused on the increased activity in these technical buildings post pandemic. Within a year of inception, we have a successful backlog of over $500M and have secured projects across Canada.

**You as a Superintendent will**:

- Provide overall construction management, including design, budget and schedule, in conjunction with the Project Manager, Owners, Engineers and Architects to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget on large complex projects.
- Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team’s ongoing progression.
- Mentor project team members to ensure career growth and development.
- Advise senior management of potential problems, work interferences and schedule difficulties while assisting in resolving conflicts.
- Be jointly responsible to monitor, interpret and forecast a project’s cost reports ensuring they are in line with the estimate and maintain a positive cash flow

**Is this the right role for you?**
- You have a construction-related degree and 5-8 years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience working on large commercial projects (P3, Residential, Commercial, Institutional, Mission Critical, Pharmaceuticals, etc.)
- You have advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, and engineering drawings.
- You have the ability to quickly identify problem situations, evaluate alternative causes, produce workable solutions, and lead a large team to successful completion.
