**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children. Your primary focus will be on fostering the development of each child through educational activities, caregiving, and maintaining a safe classroom atmosphere. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and have experience working with children.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities.
- Provide attentive caregiving to ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
- Support children's learning by engaging them in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster positive relationships.
- Observe and document children's progress and behavior to assist in their development.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in Early Childhood Education.
- A genuine passion for educating and nurturing young children.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when needed.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children in a classroom setting.
- Early Childhood Educator Assistant Certificate
- First Aid & CPR/AED Level B
- Clear Criminal Record Check

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week

- Monday to Friday

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Early Childhood Educator Assistant Certificate (preferred)
