_**Job Title**:_ Production Technician
- **Reporting To**:_ Production Supervisor

- **Position Overview**:_

The position of the Production Technician is responsible for participating in and maintaining workflow for each step of the Post-Harvest Production. They are responsible for running basic machinery safely and use correct PPE at all times, make observations, calculate and record results from production runs. The Production Technician will also be required to perform general housekeeping and POD cleaning which passes QC testing.
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Ability to read and follow SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Ability to keep accurate and neat production documents
- Participate in and maintain workflow for each step of the Post Harvest Production (milling, destem, product preparation, product packaging)
- Ability to run basic machinery safely and use correct PPE at all times
- Make observations and calculate and record results from Production runs
- Ability to problem solve production flow backups while packaging product
- Ability to work as part of a team at all times to meet Production needs
- Ability to meet production standards based on yearly averages/ units per hour
- Strict inventory and record keeping control over starting materials, intermediates and finished products
- Dispose of waste, maintain a clean and tidy workplace daily
- Perform general housekeeping and POD cleaning which passes QC testing
- Operate basic lab equipment safely
- Ability to perform inventory counts if needed
- Perform regular cleaning of lab equipment and tools to specifications
- Maintain and log all documentation of production operations
- Maintain flexibility and the ability to adopt variable working hours according to production needs
- Ability to move from POD to POD with limited notice
- Ability to assist other teammates in other POD's when your own work is complete
- Support overtime at short notice if needed
- All other duties required
- **Education & Experience**_
- High school diploma and/or equivalent GED
- Previous inventory experience is an asset
- Clean criminal record
- **Skills & Abilities**_
- Must show meticulous attention to record keeping and counting
- Light to moderate lifting (nothing over 50 pounds) that is not shared
- Ability to work in climate controlled conditions
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to do fine motor skill work with hands
- **Other Details**_
- This is position based out of our facility in Creemore, Ontario
- Note: The chosen applicant will be required to successfully complete background check

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
