**Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work**:
**On a day-to-day basis you will**:
- Translate business requirements into sound HR outcomes with a strong commercial focus
- Assist with facilitating the implementation of annual HR processes, including performance reviews, succession and business planning and remuneration reviews.
- Develop positive relationships with the GHD business community and colleagues
- Act as a change champion to support GHD's global people strategy and support the business through large scale transformational changes
- Drive employee engagement survey action plans and engagement outcomes including employee retention
- Lead the Western Canada people team, including managing a People Business Partner
**What you will bring to the team**:
As a senior member of the Western Canada leadership team and People community, you have experience working with confidential and complex matters.
Ideally, you will have worked in professional services, have a broad HR background, and can switch between the tactical and strategic.
You will be proactive, professional, a standout colleague, and approachable in style.
**Experience and Knowledge Required**:
- A degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field of study.
- CPHR designation desirable.
- 10-15+ years relevant experience, where performance has met/exceeded expectations.
- Understanding of and/or experience in professional services firms.
- Experience leading an HR team.
The salary range for this position is $117,600-$176,400 depending on experience.
