Dishwasher

**NOTE: We are NOT on a bus route**

**Position Description**

Washes dishes, cutlery, pots and pans; cleans refrigerated areas and storage areas; mops kitchen floor. Helps to clean vegetables. Keeps dishwashing areas neat and tidy and assists with the general cleaning of the kitchen and dishwashing areas.

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**
- Adhere to the limits of authorized policies, procedures, programs and budgets
- Fill dishwasher with water, ensure supply of detergents, and wash dishes, cutlery and glassware
- Empty dishwasher and stack and store dishes, cutlery and glassware in appropriate storage areas
- Clean fridges, shelves, racks, storage areas, tables and floors in the kitchen
- Clean warming ovens and coffee machines
- Clean cutting boards and carving boards
- Mop kitchen floor
- Assist with the washing and cutting of vegetables and produce
- Assist with the storing of food items in appropriate containers
- Assist with the peeling of vegetables and produce
- Take garbage and recycling out to the garbage and recycling bins
- Clean B.B.Q., porch and parking lot area
- Other duties may be assigned by a Manager on duty, such duties relating to the overall maintenance of the clubhouse area and within the normal scope of the Dishwasher abilities

**Qualifications Required**
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
- Able to work independently
- Desire to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
- Will require knowledge of proper food handling practices (to be taught by the Executive Chef and Sous Chef)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Pay: $16.80 per hour
