TYPE OF RIG: DP3 6th Generation Ultra-Deepwater Semi-Submersible, Hercules

ROTATION: 28/28 in NL

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Contract, Full Time

CONTRACT: Short Term Contract; Estimate 5-6 Months

NUMBER OF POSITIONS: Four (4)

**JOB SUMMARY**:Organizing/performing jobs in the pump room, mud mixing area and derrick, and assist in other areas as needed.

**PRE-REQUISITES/QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2+ years experience as a Derrickhand on 6th Generation Ultra-Deepwater Semi-Submersible
- 2+ years previous experience with AKER and MHWirth equipment
- Safety Training Courses: Basic Survival Training, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, Standard First Aid, Well Control Level 2, Security Awareness, WHMIS, Regulatory Awareness
- Structured and organized mindset
- High level of integrity
- Analytical ability
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Must pass Physical, Drug Screen and Background/Pre-Employment Screening Checks

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES**:
Competence:

- Perform on the job training in own areas.
- Be in accordance with own competence requirements at all times.
- Know working procedures and checklists of Odfjell? s (DDI) within own area of responsibility.

Operations:

- Supervision of the pump room, mud mixing equipment and drilling fluid.
- Frequently test the properties of the drilling fluid and keep records of the results.
- Perform maintenance activities.
- Keep the driller informed about the consistency of the drilling fluid as well as the general state of the pumps.
- Operate any drilling equipment in a proper manner within its capacity limits and at the correct tempo.
- Contribute to good communication between all involved in the ongoing operation.
- Keep the workplace tidy and clean.
- Emergency duties according to the unit?s emergency organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
