**Your tasks at a glance**
- You are the master of keeping our tools clean and sterile.
- You receive, sort, disassemble, decontaminate, clean, assemble, wrap, sterilize and store instruments.
- You keep accurate records of sterile items.
- You make sure to rotate stock (FIFO) and reprocess outdated supplies.
- You perform designated cleaning duties, restocks shelves, cupboards and carts according to established written policies/procedures.
- You are responsible for maintaining, testing and keeping records of sterilization tests (Bowie-Dicks, BI's, etc.) and regular maintenance and testing of the Ultrasonic.
- **You are comfortable travelling between our LASIK MD City Centre, LASIK MD North West and King LASIK locations.**

- You possess a recognized Sterile Processing Technician certificate or a Medical Device Reprocessing course (MDR) **(Current CSA or** **IACHSMM/HSPA required)**.
- You have the physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- You have an eye for details, have good judgment skills, and always stay alert.
- You are interested in the health services field and in helping others.
- Experience in a medical practitioner’s office, customer service and/or patient care or other medical administrative experience is an asset.
