To provide nutritional, well-balanced meals and snacks that comply with our local Health Regulations, The Child Care and Early Learning Act and Cobblestone Child Care policies and procedures.

Responsibilities Include:

- Create and implement a four week rotating seasonal menu in accordance with the approved centre budget
- Maintain a clean, sanitary and organized kitchen that meets or exceeds all requirements from the Health Department and Cobblestone Child Care standards
- Responsible to be informed of and communicate any changes to accommodate food allergies and special medical and dietary requirements of the centre children
- Attend workshops, training, conference and staff meetings as required
- Assist and develop rapport with staff and children

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma
- Safe Food Handling Certification
- Knowledge and familiarity of cooking for large groups
- First Aid and CPR Level C
- Familiar with the Child Care and Early Learning Act, Canada's Food Guide and Health and Sanitary Regulations
- Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Persons Screening

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
