Current Position available**:Hydrovac Operator for Water & Sewer Projects in the Acheson area**

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate WGL Hydrovac as per WGL and customer expectations
- Perform thorough pre-trip, post-trip, and unit inspections
- Liaise with dispatch to determine daily work assignment(s)
- Ensure vehicle and axle weights meet regulatory requirements
- Ensure unit is clean and minor repairs & daily maintenance are performed
- Follow WGL safety program including Safe Work Practices and Procedures
- Accurately complete Daily Field Tickets, Logbooks, Pre-trips, Hazard Assessments, and any additional required paperwork
- Supervise activities of Hydrovac Swamper to ensure employee skill development

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 license
- H2S Alive
- Standard First Aid (with BC Jurisdiction)
- Ground Disturbance 2 (ABCGA Certification)
- CSO (Common Safety Orientation)

**Starting wage dependent upon experience and qualifications.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$150,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
