**POSITION**: Aquaculture Husbandry Supervisor

**STARTING WAGE**: Negotiable - based on experience

Limberis Seafood Processing Ltd. is one of the longest-standing and largest clam farm and processing / depuration plant in BC. We are located in Ladysmith, located 25 min south of Nanaimo, and 1 hour north of Victoria, and in close proximity to Nanaimo International Airport and BC Ferries. The town itself is located on the beautiful waters of the Salish Sea, offering all kinds of marine activities to local residents.

- be physically fit
- be able to read and understand local tide charts

**Skills and Qualifications**
- basic mechanical knowledge - capable of minor machine repairs
- strong trouble-shooting skills
- critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- experience operating machinery (skid steer)
- strong organizational and time-management skills
- extensive experience operating boats
- PCOC Licence (can be obtained online)

**Class 5 with Air Brake Endorsement an asset**

This job is permanent part-time, dependent on the tides. Limberis Seafood will provide rubber boots and outdoor gear (raingear). Any other equipment required will be supplied by the employer. There will also be opportunities to work in the processing plant when beaches not accessible due to tides.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week

**Salary**: From $23.00 per hour
