As an IT Technician (Help Desk) you’ll join our team to keep endpoint systems running smoothly and efficiently as you will be the first point of contact for IT support within Tempo. Your primary focus will be on supporting and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.You will independently manage requests workload and assigned requests from different employees and departments. As an IT professional, you will contribute to the overall success of the team by delivering on support tasks. You will also need to have the flexibility to come into our Montreal office occasionally to manage equipment orders.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Provisioning IT equipment to users and maintaining records of IT assets usage
- Installing and configuring hardware and software components
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Manage the damaged hardware for repairing or replacing
- Upgrading systems to enable software compatibility
- Installing and upgrading anti-virus software and security systems to ensure network security
- Performing tests and evaluations on software and hardware
- Offering information, the initial training on equipment and software and 1st level support to users
- Maintaining relationships with different employees and departments
- Write procedures and various technical documents for systems, services and apps

**What we are looking for**:

- 1+ years of experience working as a Help Desk Technician (open to New Graduates)
- Operating systems (Mac OS, Windows, Linux)
- Office and messaging software
- Base scripting knowledge (PowerShell, bash)
- Network management knowledge: APs, controller, switch, router, firewalls
- Have the flexibility to come into the Montreal office occasionally
- Good learning capacity and self driven
- Good communication with non-technical people
- Openly accepts and incorporates feedback
- Seeks learning opportunities by collaborating with teammates
