**About Us**:
Convertus Group is Canada’s largest and most advanced operator, processing more than 500,000 tonnes of waste annually. From coast to coast, we operate 13 sites to produce over 200,000 tonnes of finished compost and over 80,000 GJ of Renewable Natural Gas. This is the equivalent to taking 15,000 cars off the road or avoiding 28 million litres of gasoline being consumed. **Your Mission**:
As A Process EIT, you will play a crucial role in monitoring the plant's process control and operating equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations. Reporting to the Process Leader - Biofuel Facility, you will work closely with the team to maintain SCADA settings, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with regulations.

**Here’s what an ordinary day of work might look like**:

- Identify and address non-conforming waste, haulers, and procedures to optimize our biofuel production processes.
- Work closely with the Process Leader to maintain SCADA settings, analyze process performance data, and make adjustments for efficiency.
- Monitor and adjust operations in AD tunnels, composting tunnels, and gas plant to meet regulatory requirements and production schedules.
- Conduct regular inspections and make process adjustments to ensure optimal performance and minimize waste.
- Train and support employees on processes and SCADA systems, promoting a culture of operational excellence and safety.
- Contribute to a sustainable future by promoting waste reduction and environmental stewardship.

**This job is for you if**:

- You hold an EIT credential - it is a requirement.
- You hold a post-secondary degree or diploma in sciences or a related field (e.g., biology, chemistry, environmental studies, etc.).
- You have a solid understanding of composting processes, ideally with experience in the biological processing of organic waste streams.
- With at least 2 years of experience in composting or processing plants, you bring valuable insights to our team.
- Knowledge of SCADA systems is preferred, showcasing your technical expertise.
- Your strong interpersonal and communication skills enable you to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- You excel both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating your adaptability and teamwork abilities.
- You're willing to work outside scheduled hours when required, showing your commitment to the role and team.
- You hold a valid Driver's License - it is a requirement.

**Compensation package**:
