**The Cartier Arms is looking for experienced Line cooks and Brunch Cooks to join our team. **We are a multifaceted food and Beverage operation within the Hyatt Centric hotel, which is located in the Old Montreal neighbourhood, close to Champ-de-Mars metro.

**Schedule: Mornings/Days/Weekends - Part-time and Full-time positions available.**
- Tuesday to Sunday Lunch and Brunch.

**Responsibilities**:

- Opening the restaurant
- Basic section prep
- Clean and restock stations for next service
- Keep all kitchen areas clean and presentable
- Working line during a busy service

**- Basic understanding of French technique**

**Requirements**:

- Must be bilingual (English and French)
- Positive attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take direction and work as a team
- Grill/Pan experience is necessary
- Physical requirements: standing, walking, reaching, lifting and bending
- At least 3 to 5 years experience
- Culinary diploma is an asset - Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent
- Motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work in a team setting as well as alone.

**Pay and benefits**:

- Competitive hourly wage of $20-$22 depending on Availability and Experience.

- **Le Cartier Arms recherche des cuisiniers de ligne et des cuisiniers de brunch expérimentés pour rejoindre notre équipe. ** Nous sommes un établissement de restauration à multiples facettes au sein de l'hôtel Hyatt Centric, situé dans le quartier du Vieux-Montréal, à proximité du métro Champ-de-Mars.

**Horaires : Matins/jours/week-ends - Postes à temps partiel et à temps plein disponibles.**
- Du mardi au dimanche, déjeuner et brunch.

**Responsabilités**:

- Ouverture du restaurant
- Préparation des sections de base
- Nettoyer et réapprovisionner les postes pour le service suivant
- Garder toutes les zones de la cuisine propres et présentables
- Travailler à la chaîne pendant un service chargé

**- Compréhension de base de la technique française**

**Exigences**:

- Être bilingue (anglais et français)
- Attitude positive
- Excellentes aptitudes à la communication et aux relations interpersonnelles
- Capacité à prendre des directives et à travailler en équipe
- Expérience du gril/de la poêle nécessaire
- Exigences physiques : se tenir debout, marcher, atteindre, soulever et se pencher
- Au moins 3 à 5 ans d'expérience - Diplôme culinaire est un atout - Sécurité alimentaire, SafeCheck, Manipulateur d'aliments ou équivalent
- Motivé et désireux d'apprendre dans un environnement en évolution rapide.
- Capable de travailler aussi bien en équipe que seul.

**Rémunération et avantages**:

- Salaire horaire compétitif de 20 à 22 $ selon la disponibilité et l'expérience.
