**IT Manager**
Fort Erie International Academy (FEIA) is entering its 6th year as a leading institution in the Niagara Region and represents an “East Meets West” philosophy which celebrates diversity, culture, family and community. **Primary Responsibilities**:
- Evaluate and install computer software, hardware, and operating system software.
- Troubleshoot the computer system and network issues of others.
- Perform server and information backups and recovery operations.
- Design, install, and upgrade data security systems.
- Operating firewalls, file servers, and other computer systems.
- Monitor systems for security breaches and risks continuously.
- Monitor Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), and network segments for security threats.
- Respond to user issues, concerns, problems, and inquiries.
- Work with various business units to understand their requirements and how it relates to the existing environment.
- Working with vendors to maximize IT investments.
- Oversee staff that maintain existing labs.
**Education and Experience**
- Post-secondary education/college diploma in Information Technology.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the Information Technology field and administrative experience in a comparable business environment.
**Required Skills**:
- Knowledge on Microsoft infrastructure and desktop technologies including:
- Microsoft Operating Systems (Client & Server)
- Microsoft 365 / Azure AD Administration
- File system security and ACL
- Active Directory and Group Policy management
- Microsoft Messaging & Communications Platforms (Exchange, Office365, Teams)
- Excellent knowledge of networking fundamentals
**Preferred Skills**
- Industry recognized certifications, specifically Microsoft.
- Basic PowerShell knowledge/experience.
Pay: $59,973.40-$85,000.00 per year
