**What you'll do**
- Daily Cleaning Tasks:_
- Dust furniture, equipment, work benches, etc.
- Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, floors, toilets, mirrors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, etc., in all restrooms, break rooms and kitchenettes
- Replenish supplies in restrooms, break rooms and kitchen
- Sweep, vacuum and mop all floors, stairs and mats
- Wipe down elevator doors and walls Disinfect all handrails and door knobs
- Empty trash cans and recyclables into disposal areas
- Load and empty the dishwasher daily in both the central kitchen and boardroom kitchenette
- Weekly Cleaning Tasks:_
- Polish hangar and operations building floors
- Wipe down walls, doors, pictures, baseboards, etc.
- Ensure the custodial room is kept neat and organized.
- Other:_
- Clean windows and vestibules
- Carpet cleaning in office areas (quarterly)
- Outdoor vegetation control and sidewalk clearing
- Maintain/purchase inventory for all cleaning, bathroom and kitchen supplies Comply with all safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Working conditions**
- This job will require both indoor and outdoor work.
- The hours for this position will primarily be Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
- Occasional weekends and/or statutory holidays may be required depending on the needs of the company

**What you'll bring to the table**
- Demonstrated previous cleaning/custodial experience
- Ability to prioritize and schedule a wide variety of duties
- Perform tasks in an effective and safe manner
- Understand and follow oral and written directions
- Work independently or as a team when needed
- Meet schedules and timelines
- Maintain routine records
- Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
- Communication skills, written and verbal, to respond to customers and to interpret instructions and procedural manuals
- Basic computer skills
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driver abstract
- Criminal Record Check Level 2
- Other Qualifications:_
- Requires prolonged periods of standing or sitting while using tools and equipment, lifting, pulling, and managing equipment and objects.
- Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
- Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cavan Monaghan, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)
