Responsible for overseeing the daily cleaning and maintenance of a facility, such as a hotel, hospital, or office building. Ensure that the housekeeping staff performs their duties to the highest standard and that the facility is maintained in a clean and orderly manner.

**Responsibilities**:
Supervising and training housekeeping staff:
Responsible for training, and managing housekeeping staff.

Ensure that staff members are properly trained in cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service.

Scheduling and assigning tasks: ensure that staff members have the necessary resources and equipment to perform their duties efficiently.

Inspecting work: The supervisor inspects the work of housekeeping staff to ensure that it meets the established standards of cleanliness and quality.

Ordering supplies: The supervisor monitors cleaning supplies, equipment, and other materials necessary for housekeeping staff to perform their duties.

Maintaining inventory: The supervisor maintains an inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and other materials. They ensure that the inventory is properly stocked and that supplies are used efficiently.

Resolving complaints: The supervisor handles customer complaints related to housekeeping services. They investigate complaints, identify the root cause of the problem, and take corrective action.

**General Knowledge,Skill and Ability**

Fluent in the English language(written and verbal)

Requires at least 2 years housekeeper supervisor experiences

Requires ability to select, train, evaluate, motivate and discipline as needed

Requires the ability to follow and five directions (verbal and written)

Requires the ability to work without direct supervision

Requires the ability to work with our computerized Property Management System

Requires the completion of high school or equivalency

First aid certification an asset

Must be Canadian Citizen, landed immigrant or have current Working Visa legally work in Canada others need not apply

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30-40 per week

**Salary**: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
