As Electrical Assembly Technician at Tri-Star Industries Ltd. you will be responsible to ensure all electrical installations have been completed fully and properly before the product is moved to Cabinet installations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparing new vehicles for production, including installation of components onto the chassis after body installation.
- Be able to understand both written and verbal instructions (Work Instructions, Check Lists, Production Specifications etc.) and drawings with mínimal or no supervision.
- Be able to understand and follow Schematic wiring diagrams.
- Installation of electrical components and wiring.
- Participate in training for new procedures, work instructions, policies, etc. or other documentation pertaining to the department or company.
- Participate in cross training in other departments and Crews within the company when and where required.
- Assist in helping with training of new employees within your department.
- Complete documentation required in a timely fashion for the control of process for a vehicle.
- Maintain and clean work area and shop equipment.
- Respect all Crews, Crew Leaders, Departments and Management and work as a team.
- Any other duties required by Crew Leader, Operations Manager or other Management.

**Requirements**:
To maintain the level of quality that Tri-Star requires, as well as the versatility to complete the custom vehicles that Tri-Star is famous for, the following is a list of requirements that Tri-Star requests in a potential employee:

- Grade twelve or equivalent. A trade certificate or diploma in Electrical is preferable. Consideration would be given to relevant work experience.
- Must have experience in Automotive or Construction and be mechanically inclined.
- Capable of using electrical tools such as, crimpers and soldering irons
- Capable of using mechanical hand tools such as jigsaws, chop saws, drills, air tools, torque wrenches, measuring tapes, etc.
- Capable of lifting and handling heavy objects at times (alone sometimes as well as with team) and able to work on their feet on or around vehicles (both standing outside as well as crawling inside the vehicle).
- Capable of the safe handling to prevent damage to new material as well as customer supplied products.
- Employees must show a willingness to learn and train for different areas of the ambulance build process as well as keep up with new innovations within the construction industry.
- Must be able to work alone with mínimal direction. Leadership experience would be an asset as there may be a requirement to lead a crew.
