As a **Service Writer** you will be responsible for the day to day Customer Satisfaction & Support, Invoicing & Payments, Inventory Control, Maintaining Industry Knowledge, and Data Entry & Systems. Major accountabilities include:
**Customer Satisfaction & Support**
- Answer calls, and respond to client inquiries
- Maintain exceptional customer service and provide updates to clients as required
- Schedule service, and coordinate repairs for quick turnaround

**Invoicing & Payments**:

- Create invoices & work orders
- Review and identifies any discrepancies in invoices
- Ensure payment collected for services
- Allocate invoices to AP as required

**Inventory Control & Maintenance**:

- Order new parts & equipment or return to vendor as required
- Maintain accurate inventory of assets, and parts
- Daily entry of parts ordering and cataloging in systems

**Industry Knowledge**:

- Ensure up to date bulletins are posted
- Ability to identify customer requests, and build work orders to repair issue
- Understand Heavy Duty repair terminology

**Data entry & Systems Administration**:

- Gather and maintain customer/account information
- Enter data in appropriate systems as required
- Maintain accurate internal systems

Qualifications:

- Experience as a Service Advisor/Service Writer
- Knowledge of the Transportation, Towing, or Automotive industry an asset
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Experience with data entry, asset information management, and inventory control
- Proven experience working with a large, multi-disciplined team
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and fulfilling the day to day, and long term departmental goals
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$26.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
