As a kitchen attendant (also known as kitchen staff), you will be part of a dynamic team within a restaurant establishment. Your primary role will involve preparing all elements contributing to the success of a banquet event, as well as ensuring the cleaning and stocking of the kitchen. You will work in a fast-paced and demanding environment where precision, efficiency, and collaboration are essential.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Being responsible for preparing the equipment necessary for the success of banquet events.
- Conducting an inventory of dishes, cutlery, and food items.
- Making requests for kitchen equipment requisition.
- Ensuring the restocking of kitchen supplies.
- Performing dishwashing and cleaning of small equipment.
- Sorting, organizing, and separating items (pots, pans, utensils, glassware, etc.).
- Scrubbing items according to procedures before putting them in the machine.
- Being alert to any urgent or last-minute kitchen requests.
- Ensuring the overall cleanliness of the workspace.
- Maintaining proper product levels in dispensers and machines.
- Sweeping, scrubbing, and washing floors manually and using a rinse hose according to cleaning standards.
- Cleaning food preparation surfaces and storage areas.
- Regularly emptying food waste and other trash bins and disposing of them cleanly and organizedly in the garbage room.
- Sorting trash into the correct containers.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the restaurant industry.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow instructions from chefs and adhere to recipes.
- Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing kitchen needs.
- Team spirit and excellent communication skills.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads if necessary.

**Languages**: Fluency in French is required. Proficiency in any other languages is an asset.
