**About this opportunity**
**Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day**
- Use medical knowledge to properly assess and treat patients
- Have extensive knowledge of devices, foot conditions and accommodations when filling out work orders
- Use health teaching techniques in order to educate patients about treatments and proper use of devices
- Document every patient's visit or call in the patient's charts
- Communicate findings to patients and explain their condition
- Ensure the patient is fully aware of the purpose of the orthotic they have received
- Dispense orthotics and compression hosiery to patients in a timely manner
- Provide clear explanations of payment plans and insurance coverage to all patients
**What you need to be successful**
- Certification as a Canadian Certified Pedorthist
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- An understanding of insurance plans and requirements
- The ability to complete simple repairs
- Previous experience in a foot clinic is an asset

Pay: $40,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
- Commission pay
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- pedorthic: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Pedorthist License (required)
