In addition, The MRG Group owns and operates an events business, travel company, digital publication, and ticketing service Admit One. In 2021, the business expanded its presence into the US, signing its first venue deals with properties in New York and California later that year.

Our Security Guard Team Leads do more than ensure the safety and security of our guests, staff and buildings. Often as the first point of contact, they are also Brand Ambassadors and help greet guests, see them on their way and be the person on point when an issue may arise.

**The Role**:

- Report to work in uniform at posted schedule time
- Physically able to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Ensure all guests are being greeted as they are entering the property
- Keep an eye out for patrons
- ID all patrons who appear to be underage
- Keep track of capacity levels
- Conduct bag search as required
- Ensure patrons who are visibly intoxicated are not permitted to enter (or stay) on the premises in a safe and professional manner
- Effectively communicate with team and offer support as their needs may require
- Ends service by offering a heartfelt thank you and inviting the guest to visit again
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Proficient customer service and de-escalation experience.

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**:

- Valid Ontario Security License
- Valid Smart Serve Certificate
- Valid First Aid & CPR certification
- Open availability; all days of the week consisting of afternoons, evenings, weekend shifts and holidays
- Able to work well with staff and public
- Interact with a diverse population
- Work with minimum supervision and react quickly
- Communicate effectively and calmly in a variety of situations
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to assist peers
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Security experience working in the hospitality industry (Bars, Nightclubs and concert venues is an asset)
- Experienced with government issued ID checks
- Completing incidents reports and required documentation for all security incidents
