**About the role**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the baking and production of baked goods.
- Promote and support friendly, courteous customer relations in the bakery department
- Merchandise, maintain and provide appropriate signage for cake counter and displays.
- Fill customer requests, take special orders
- Package and label all products produced (label and display).
- Ice and decorate cakes and other products.
- Clean and maintain cake counters and coolers.
- Adhere to strict cleaning schedule ensuring a high level of cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Ensure the safety of all staff and customers.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required.

**Experience you bring**
- Experience is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- In-store systems experience a definite asset.
- Able to stand for long periods of time and deal with exposure to hot and/or cold environments.
- Extensive product knowledge.
- Knowledge of baking methods and decoration techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills.
