**About the Role**:
We are looking for a dedicated Production Technician to join our growing team. You will primarily be responsible for executing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to assemble and Quality Control (QC) micro-assemblies. High precision while working with small parts will be critical for this role.

**Specific responsibilities of this role**:
Follow SOP to cut and QC optical fibres
Glue fibres into ferrules
Use microscope to QC fiber ferrule assembly
Track inventory and quality data in systems

**About You**:
You are highly organized and focused in your work, and you have a strong ability to execute processes systematically. You are self-motivated and able to work autonomously to meet production targets. You are passionate about continuous improvements in quality and efficiency to help improve production processes. You thrive in a small team environment and are excited about a career in a growing technology company

Scrupulous attention to detail
Able to stay highly focused when following an SOP
Fine motor skills for precision work
Meticulous in nature, especially while performing repetitive tasks
Organized and able to maintain a clean working environment
Ideally, in a technical post-secondary program looking for full-time summer work and part-time work around school hours in the fall.

**Bonus points if you have experience with**:
Optic fibres
High-volume production with tight mechanical tolerances
Working in cleanrooms
