TITLE**:SUITE ATTENDANT (Part Time)**

MISSION: To supply courteous service which ensures repeat visits while performing assigned cleaning tasks to maintain guest suites in the cleanest possible condition at all times.

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR**:EXECUTIVE HOUUSEKEEPER, ASSISTANT HOUSEKEEPING MANAGER, SUPERVISORS**

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To clean suites including one "spring cleaning" suite according to standard during a shift or to perform equivalent duties assigned by the management personnel.

2. To provide clean and comfortable bedrooms to guests by stripping and making beds and sofa in assigned suites to specified standards.

3. To provide clean washroom facilities to guests, by cleaning bathrooms in assigned guest rooms and suite to specified standards including tub, tiles, toilet, pipes, vanity area and floor.

4. To strip assigned guest suites to specified standards, removing used amenities and room service amenities, storing lost and found temporarily, chuting used linen to laundry, reporting special linen cleaning requirements and disposing of garbage; and to fully replace all used, damaged and missing linen and amenities ensuring consistent presentation by adhering to all specified standards set up in each room configuration for furniture, fixtures, equipment, amenities and line.

5. To maintain assigned guest suites in "like new" condition by performing assigned general duties daily including washing, scrubbing, wiping, polishing, dusting all guest suite areas including glass, wood, plastic and vinyl and special duties as required.

6. To maintain carpets in "like new" condition by thoroughly vacuuming the entire carpet surface of all assigned suites, emptying and cleaning vacuum cleaners and reporting defective equipment to the housekeeping office.

7. To ensure efficient security and lost and found service by placing lost and found items in a bag, dating and writing the suite number on the bag, reporting and delivering items to the housekeeping office, including signing in and out for keys and reporting fire and unusual occurrences on the property to the operator or housekeeping office and assisting guests to exits in an emergency.

8. The suite attendant maintains the following reporting relationships:

- reports directly to his or her housekeeping supervisor.
- interacts with guests and personnel of the hotel.

9. Duties & Responsibilities:
The Suite Attendant performs the following duties and assignments according to established standards:

- maintains responsibility for floor or master keys in his or her possession
- loads and unloads cart, keeps the cart neat and orderly
- keeps linen room neat and clean
- makes up assigned guest rooms to specified standards
- places room service items behind the service elevator
- turns in all lost and found items
- reports any assigned rooms that do not require service or that display Do Not Disturb
(DND) signs or have not been occupied
- reports any malfunctioning room equipment
- performs spring cleaning as required
- reports any suspicious-looking person
- reports any health or safety hazard
- is aware of emergency procedures
- performs turndown service as required
- can answer a guest's questions about the hotel's services and facilities
- removes items on check out, such as feather pillows, kettles, etc.
- records vacancies
- greets guests encountered in guest areas with a smile (and by name whenever possible)

10. To maintain accurate guest information and the status of the suites by verifying and reporting the physical status of all suites on assigned floors and indicating the new status of suites on the worksheet as they are cleaned.

11. To maintain standards of cleanliness in the shortest possible time by completing the steps of cleaning in specified order including tidying up guests items in occupied suites and conduction a final visual inspection of cleaned suites.

12. To perform auxiliary tasks when required, including laundry help and Houseperson’s duties.

13. To execute all reasonable additional assignments determined by supervisory or management personnel.
