The **Building Inspector** is responsible for the enforcement of the provincial statutes of the Ontario Building Code Act and other Municipal Building Bylaws as required by the Municipality of North Perth as well as enforcement of zoning by-laws.
- Post-secondary diploma in Construction Engineering or Architectural Technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Completed or working towards the follow courses under the Building Code Act:

- House
- Legal General
- Small Buildings
- Building Structural
- Building Services
- Plumbing - All Buildings
- HVAC House
- Minimum Municipal Designation required: Building Inspector
