**Job Summary**:
The Home Child Care Services Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the operations, administration, and strategic leadership of the Licensed Home Child Care Program within the organization. This multifaceted role involves program oversight, provider recruitment and training, family engagement and support, regulatory compliance and reporting, collaboration and partnership and leadership of the home visitor team. The Program Manager also focuses on strategic elements important to Today’s Family such as financial oversight, people practices, service development, and community relations to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to children and families.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Strategic Leadership**:

- Manages all aspects of the licensed home child care program, ensuring compliance with provincial regulations, licensing standard and agency policies.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates program policies, procedures, and practices to maintain high quality child care services.
- Implements recruitment plans for new providers; ensuring proper steps are in place throughout the recruitment process.
- Provides effective leadership and supervision to the Home Visitor team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Fosters a positive team culture that values collaboration, accountability, innovation, inclusion and caring with a child and family centered service delivery.
- Conducts regular team meetings, one to one check ins, performance evaluations ensuring alignment with program goals and objectives.
- Stewards relationships with potential providers and community partners in various communities.
- **Operational Planning**:

- Works collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless workflows and positive business practices.
- Tracks parent concerns and complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
- Maintains accuracy across all systems regarding provider statuses and changes.
- Conducts audits of children's files to ensure accuracy in their statuses.
- Organizes and distributes items such as books and PPE to providers and children.
- Conducts visits alongside home visitors in provider homes to support challenges.
- Reallocates caseloads among home visitors when required.
- **Financial Planning & Oversight**:

- Collaborates with senior leadership and finance department to develop annual budgets for licensed home child care program, ensuring alignment with organization goals, priorities, and funding sources.
- Monitors budget performance through the fiscal year, identifying variances, trends and potential cost saving opportunities, adjusting as needed to optimize resource allocation.
