Sous la direction de la superviseure ou du superviseur de l’entretien ménager, la personne responsable de l’aide-ménagère doit s’assurer que tous les secteurs et services de l’établissement sont nettoyés et entretenus conformément aux règlements, politiques et procédures du ministère. La personne occupant ce poste aide à s’assurer que l’installation est exempte de contaminants et qu’elle est bien présentée au grand public, aux clients et au personnel.

Les connaissances, compétences et aptitudes requises pour ce poste s’acquièrent normalement par l’obtention d’un diplôme de 8e année ou l’équivalent. Un an d’expérience en entretien ménager ou en buanderie dans un milieu commercial ou institutionnel est considéré comme un atout. Il s’agit d’un poste de nature très délicate et une vérification du casier judiciaire jugée acceptable ainsi qu’une attestation de la capacité à travailler auprès d’une clientèle vulnérable sont requises.

Une combinaison acceptable d’études et d’expérience pourrait être prise en compte pour ce poste. Nous vous encourageons à postuler si vous possédez un bagage d’études ou d’expérience équivalent à la qualification décrite ci-dessus.

Les fonctionnaires du gouvernement du Nunavut occupant actuellement un poste à durée indéterminée et possédant la qualification requise pourraient se voir offrir une affectation temporaire concurrentielle pour la durée du présent mandat, conditionnellement toutefois à une approbation du/de la gestionnaire.

Une liste d’admissibilité pourrait être créée afin de doter de futurs postes vacants.
- Le gouvernement du Nunavut s’engage à ce que son effectif soit représentatif de sa population.
