**Position Title**:Business and Information Systems Analyst

**Location**:City of Guelph and Wellington County

**Status**: Full‐time

**Reports to**: Director of Operations

**Key relationships**:CEO; Director, Organizational Development; Resource Development team; ReStore team

**Works regularly with**:Director, Construction; Accountant Operations and Administration; Staff

Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington works to create new opportunities for affordable home ownership - an important part of the housing continuum, and an important part of the solution to the current housing crisis. Habitat GW works to provide a hand up, not a hand out, to partner with families to create the opportunity for a safe and decent place to live. Over the coming 3‐5 years, Habitat GW has ambitious goals for building throughout Guelph and Wellington County, with 2 projects currently underway, bringing homes to over 70 families. As a charitable organization, Habitat GW relies on partnerships, investment and donations from the community to bring these projects through to fruition.
- Expectations:_

Within this role, there is a need for ongoing analysis and tracking against the objectives set out in the affiliate’s business plan. At the same time, our national body is introducing a comprehensive data tracking framework for which this position will maintain. This Business and Information Systems Analyst role will lead in the following areas:

- Creation of and continuous improvement of systems for tracking and reporting in the following critical areas: o Targets (Presentation, evaluation/implementation, and analysis) o Metrics (Presentation, evaluation/implementation, and analysis) o Build (cost and timing tracking across projects) o Financing (Government and financial institution funding draws) o Corporate library (organization) o Financial Reporting (analysis and follow up with teams)
- Improve information systems for storage, tracking and understanding of data from all streams of the organization.

- Implement best practices to get the maximum benefit from the information systems.
- Identify trends in the data analysis for opportunities and integration across the organization.
- Forecasting and explaining data variances for each stream.
- Collaborate on the effective use of PowerBi for user understanding throughout the organization.
- Coordinate various reporting deadlines federally and nationally to ensure that targets are met.

Working closely with the Director of Operations, this role will maintain the systems of the organization across its many streams. They will assist the team in understanding the meaning behind the data to identify opportunities for efficiency. They will fill in behind with consistent documentation tracking.

In coordination with the Director, Organizational Development the incumbent will implement a document management library via a SharePoint or similar platform which will be necessary for ease of access of information for all.

Administration in the development of tracking systems for build costs, draws and reporting requirements inherent within financing relationships.
