Employ to Empower is searching for a talented and professional Business Skills Training Facilitator to co-facilitate the 10-week Business Skills Training Course.

*Position Description*

Title Description: Business Skills Training Facilitator
Reporting To: Business Skills Training Program Lead
Location: Mostly In Person and Remote
Commitment: Part-time, 20 hours per week (80 hours a month)

**Salary**: $25/hour

Schedule: Flexible (but will depend on class days and times)

Class Times:
Mondays: 9:30am-1:30pm

Tuesdays: 2:30pm-8:30pm

Wednesdays: 9:30am-12:30pm, 4:30pm-7:30pm

Desired Start Date: March 18, 2024
- The Business Skills Pillar's main focus is our 10-week Business Skills Training program. During this 10-week program we will be providing personalized knowledge, tools, and resources around entrepreneurship to our participants. Each week we will cover a different topic that our participants need to know about before launching or growing their own business. The purpose of the 10-week course is to provide support to participants in various stages of business building and creating clarity, structure, and a basic business plan._

*Key Tasks May Include*
- Co-facilitate with (volunteer) facilitators
- Continuously improve program content
- Create engaging lesson plans
- Research and compile relevant business resources
- Stay up to date on current business trends
- Provide homework support outside of class

*Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree in education, organizational psychology, business, or related fields and/or a combination of experience will also be considered
- Experience working in the non-profit sector
- Strong affinity to entrepreneurship and social justice/causes
- Familiar with vulnerable populations/individuals facing barriers
- Experience facilitating classes or workshops
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude
- Empathetic and compassionate
