Hamilton, Canada Tesla Environmental Services Full time

Tesla Environmental Services, a division of Aevitas Inc. operates vacuum trucks and tankers to provide best in class transportation services throughout Ontario for non-hazardous and hazardous waste.

Tesla Environmental is currently looking to hire an AZ Driver to work out of our Hamilton, Ontario location. This is a full-time position with a total compensation package including:

- Overtime paid after 44 hours in a week.
- Minimum of 2080 and up to 3100 hours per year.

The successful applicant will have knowledge of hazardous materials, their handling and transport. Some of these responsibilities would include:

- Providing professional, safe, and service orientated transportation services to customers
- Loading and unloading hazardous and non-hazardous material.
- Transport of hazardous and non-hazardous material from generator sites to disposal sites.
- Ensuring completion of hazardous waste manifests, bills of lading and other documentation as required.
- Maintaining daily logs, daily vehicle inspections, trip reports, and expense reports.
- Maintaining and cleaning assigned equipment; and ensure equipment is always mechanically sound and in good working order.
- Complying with all corporate policies, procedures, industry standards and legislative requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid AZ license with a clean 3-year drivers abstract and CVOR.
- Minimum 25 years of age
- Minimum 3 years driving experience.
- Familiar with transportation of dangerous goods requirements
- Certification in confined space entry and forklift operation considered an asset
- Must be able to provide criminal background check and obtain security clearance
