Litho Operator

Afternoon shift - Monday through Friday - 3:30 pm to 12:00 a.m.

This position does require mandatory overtime.

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Setting up and operating printing press according to written and/or verbal instructions, established company procedures, safety and quality guidelines.
- Solving printing and quality adjustments to mechanical operation of press to keep quality, registration, color and production speed at optimum.
- Participating in setting up press according to established company guidelines, safety and job requirements.
- Printing proof sheets to check press set-up, registration, ink viscosity, and color.
- Securing supervisor’s approval for production run.
- Directing the work of the press helpers.
- Completing production records as required.
- Ensuring proper cleanliness of press, work station, and immediate press area by returning unused ink to ink room, removing trash, rags and extra press sheets.
- Assist with training on the press.
- Other duties as required.
- 2nd Pressman duties.

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Three or more years related experience on Harris Press and Komori machines
- UV experience preferred
- Ability to interpret and comprehend instructions
- Attention to detail and willingness to take initiative
- Capable of problem solving and ability to multi-task
- Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and provide direction to others
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and meet all deadlines
- Must be able to bend and frequently lift 50 lbs.
