**Responsibilities**:

- Utilize your 2-4+ years of public practice experience gained from a mid-size accounting firm.
- Compile and organize client information and records.
- Create working paper files for compilation engagement report and tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Prepare corporate and personal income tax returns for a diverse client base.
- Demonstrate knowledge of partnership returns and related tax considerations.
- Handle full-cycle accounting using QuickBooks software.
- Prepare and file GST, PST, and other compliance documents.
- Manage payroll and source deduction remittances accurately and timely.
- Monitor and ensure client deadlines are met to maintain exceptional service.
- Compile and share findings with management and partners
- Utilize your proficiency in QuickBooks, tax software (Cantax), and Microsoft Office tools.
- Leverage any experience in the commercial real estate or construction industry to enhance your role.

**Qualifications**:

- A strong background in accounting with 3+ years of preferred experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, tax software (Cantax), and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of partnership returns, compilation engagement report, and tax regulations.
- Familiarity with GST, PST, and other compliance filings.
- Experience with payroll and source deduction remittances.
- Excellent organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle challenging situations.
- You are an exceptional team player and have experience working in a team setting.
- Tech-savvy mindset and willingness to adapt to new technologies.
- Bonus points if you have experience in commercial real estate or construction industry.
- Knowledge of CaseWare is an asset.
- Ideally, you live on the North Shore or nearby.
