Loss Prevention Investigator

**MUST HAVE SECURITY / INVESTIGATIONS EXPERIENCE**

**Responsibilities**:

- Deter, detect, and/or apprehend people committing theft and fraud against our stores and facilitate their civil and criminal prosecution (Incident reports, report to police, attend court and testify, as required)
- Utilize CCTV equipment and/or floor walking to surveille store activity.
- Work along with our Organized Retail Crime (ORC) Investigators to investigate, identify, and report on external loss from repeat offenders and/or organized groups.
- Report alert signals and support our Regional Internal Investigators on internal dishonesty investigations.
- Report issues and support our Supply-chain Investigators regarding possible losses related to the supply chain.
- Work alongside our Loss Prevention Remote Investigators to identify, report and file external incidents with law enforcement.
- Support District Loss Prevention Managers by reporting possible shrink opportunities within their stores.
- Work with and report directly to a Store Investigation’s Supervisor, from within the Loss Prevention department.
- Possibility to support multiple stores and/or markets..

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma minimum or equivalency, Law and Security/Loss Prevention Diploma preferred
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a loss prevention or investigative role.
- Full COVID-19 VACCINATION
- Experience in making arrests and liaising with police to complete reports on theft and fraud.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- High level of integrity and honesty.
- Retail Loss Prevention, Military, Security, Law enforcement students or other related experiences or studies are welcomed.
- A provincial security license is required to be employed in this position where applicable.
- Must have right to work in Canada without limitations.

Nous recherchons actuellement un enquêteur en prévention des pertes très motivé et expérimenté pour rejoindre notre équipe.

Responsabilités:
Dissuader, détecter et/ou appréhender les personnes qui commettent des vols et des fraudes dans nos magasins et faciliter leurs poursuites civiles et pénales (Rapports d'incidents, signalement à la police, comparution au tribunal et témoignage, selon les besoins)
Utiliser un équipement de vidéosurveillance et/ou marcher sur le sol pour surveiller l'activité du magasin.
Travaillez avec nos enquêteurs sur le crime organisé au détail (ORC) pour enquêter, identifier et signaler les pertes externes causées par les récidivistes et/ou les groupes organisés.
Signalez les signaux d’alerte et soutenez nos enquêteurs internes régionaux dans les enquêtes internes sur la malhonnêteté.
Signalez les problèmes et soutenez nos enquêteurs de la chaîne d’approvisionnement concernant d’éventuelles pertes liées à la chaîne d’approvisionnement.
Travaillez aux côtés de nos enquêteurs à distance en matière de prévention des pertes pour identifier, signaler et signaler les incidents externes auprès des forces de l'ordre.
Soutenez les responsables de la prévention des pertes de district en signalant les éventuelles opportunités de démarque inconnue au sein de leurs magasins.
Travailler avec et rendre compte directement au superviseur des enquêtes en magasin, au sein du service de prévention des pertes.
Possibilité de prendre en charge plusieurs magasins et/ou marchés.

Exigences:
Diplôme d'études secondaires minimum ou équivalence, diplôme en droit et sécurité/prévention des pertes de préférence.

Minimum de 3 ans d'expérience dans un rôle de prévention des pertes ou d'enquête.

Expérience dans les arrestations et la liaison avec la police pour compléter des rapports sur le vol et la fraude.

Solides compétences analytiques et de résolution de problèmes.

Excellentes compétences de communication écrite et verbale.

Capacité à travailler de manière indépendante ainsi qu'en équipe.

Doit avoir un permis de conduire valide et un moyen de transport fiable.

Doit être capable de travailler selon des horaires flexibles, y compris les soirs et les fins de semaine.

Haut niveau d'intégrité et d'honnêteté.
