**Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Construction Supervisor is responsible for the following:
- Provide leadership in construction management to the project team;
- Review contractors' schedules, this includes forward planning with the contractor to ensure that overall project schedules are being met
- Responsible for the day-to-day direction and supervision of on-site contractors and other field resources supporting the construction management of the project;
- Main contact between operations and the contractor;
- Coordinate with operations all the stops necessary for the execution of the work;
- Responsible for any technical problem;
- Identify and communicate the risks to the project manager;
- Work with the project management team to understand, analyze and manage risks;
- Respect and manage the various deadlines imposed on the schedule;
- Monitor the cost of the project;
- Inform the Project Manager of any delay or problem in construction activities;
- Work with the project manager and the client to manage decisions to modify the scope of work;
- Has the role of occupational health and safety advisor, monitors the activities of the contractor's site to ensure that they are in accordance with the health and safety plan
- Show leadership in occupational health and safety;
- Holds the role of Quality Supervisor;
- Assistance in the preparation, assembly and rotation of completed work to the client
- Ensure that the project follows the stated strategies and plans, ensuring that codes, standards, regulations, policies, procedures and contractual requirements are met;
- Ensures design and specification compliance.
**Qualifications**:
- Min. 10+ years’ experience as in a relevant role;
- Min 10 years’ experience in the oil & gas industry;
- Health and Safety is your n1 focus;
- Strong interpersonal skills and negotiation skills.
- Good Customer relations.
- Strong ability to influence people, building trust and credibility.
