**About us**

Meadowview Pet Resort is a premiere dog and cat boarding facility located in Thorold. We are central to Niagara Falls, St. Catharines, Fonthill & Welland. In addition to boarding, we also offer daycare and grooming services.

Meadowview Pet Resort is currently seeking a Full Time Kennel Manager. If you love animals and have experience in a supervisor or management role, this is the opportunity for you

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide guidance and direction to kennel & daycare attendants ensuring execution of protocols for animal care and cleanliness of the facility
- Regularly review team member performance and lead by example
- Assist Kennel Attendants with daily tasks (inc. feeding, bathroom breaks, playgroups, etc.)
- Create daily layouts to ensure daily schedule is being followed
- Address and resolve client concerns and inquiries in regards to their pet’s care
- Oversee feeding, ensuring that instructions are being followed
- Oversee or distribute medications
- Conduct monthly evaluation of daycare groups to ensure a proper group dynamic
- Onboard and train new staff to provide a proper level of service as well as maintain a safe environment
- Attend and participate in monthly Management meetings to facilitate communication and teamwork
- Plan and execute events throughout the year (ex. fundraisers, themed events)
- Plan & schedule social media posts (including but not limited to: videos, birthday shoutouts, contests, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues or concerns
- General reception duties when needed (ex. Checking in and out guests, invoicing departing guests, performing tours)

**REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum three (3) years supervisor or management experience in an animal related industry
- Extensive customer service experience
- Legally able to work in Canada
- Able to efficiently operate a computer and other office equipment
- Experience handling different breeds & species of animals
- Flexibility with working hours (we are open 365 days a year)
- Have reliable transportation to and from work (we are located in the country)

- Be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Have flexibility with working hours (we are open 7 days/week, 365 days/year)

**WORKING HOURS**

This position may be required to work up to 5 days per week (we are open 7 days a week) with shifts scheduled anytime from 7am to 9pm. This position will be approximately 35-40 hours per week.

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
