Gymnastics Coach

At Next Level Sports (NLS), we are looking to break down the barriers between youth and high-quality sports training. We are looking to fill the gap between recreational sports and competitive sports to allow youth from all backgrounds and skills to continue to learn and grow in sports. The role of the coach is to support the lead coach in the facilitation sport specific programming, provide direct feedback and support to participants.
- Current First Aid & C.P.R. certificate required **(can be obtained after hiring)**:

- Full G Driver’s License required; access to a reliable vehicle is an asset
- Running programming in multiple communities outside of London
- Experience running sports programs.
- Experience working with athletes, with a range of skills and abilities

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver and Facilitate Programming - Facilitate quality training sessions (50 to 90 minutes) give direct roles to other staff members, provide constructive feedback to participants
- Program Planning
- Focusing on the fundamentals of the sport and building progressions
- Program Evaluation
- Complete a scaled program evaluation at the completion of the program
- Behavior Management
- Supporting participants to manager their emotions, helping to deescalate any situations and be responsible for communication with parents and documentation including incident/accident forms.
- Gathering Feedback from Participants
- With the purpose of improving programming based on firsthand experience and information
