The Renfrew Victoria Hospital (RVH) is a 55-bed, fully accredited facility located just 45 minutes west of Ottawa, serving a catchment area of over 60,000. Part of the Renfrew and Area Health Village, RVH provides medical, surgical and complex continuing care as well as extensive ambulatory care with over 30,000 emergency and clinic visits per year. We work with EPIC EMR, which connects us to most hospitals in our region, and training is provided.

RVH provides a number of perks for staff, including up to $800 in education funds every year, an on-site modern gym open 24/7, and regular staff recognition, appreciation and wellness activities. We have a unique nursing bursary program that provides RVH nurses with thousands of dollars each year to further their education and certifications.

- **We are currently recruiting for an RN Nursing Coordinator: Nursing Administration**_
- **Permanent Part time, and Casual**_
- **$55.84 - $60.84 per hour**_

**Qualifications**:

- Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Demonstrated knowledge of gerontology and related skills and judgement.
- Broad clinical skills and experience in Medical/Surgical and Emergency Room settings.
- ACLS, C.P.R. and I.V. Certifications.
- Excellent communication, organizational and team leadership skills to effectively direct staff and co-ordinate the interdisciplinary plan of patient care.
- Demonstrated effective skills in the provision of family support integral to provide client-centered care.
- Familiarity with a unionized setting and staffing practices will be considered strong assets.
- Nursing leadership courses or evidence of continuing learning an asset.
- Ability to work independently and to perform duties in the physical demands of work area.
- Demonstrates effective use of a computer for EHR (EPIC) documentation purposes.

We are also approved for the CNO Supervised Practice Experience Partnership (**SPEP**) - nurses with a temporary class of registration are encouraged to apply.

Our nurses may also be eligible for **Canada Student Loan forgiveness** of up to $**20,000**.
