Responsibilities:

- Supervise and ensure the safety of campers at all times
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts
- Create a positive and inclusive environment for campers
- Assist with meal times and ensure campers are following proper hygiene practices
- Provide guidance and support to campers in their social interactions
- Collaborate with other camp staff to coordinate daily schedules and activities
- Maintain accurate records of camper attendance, incidents, and behaviour

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a camp or educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to engage and connect with children of various ages and backgrounds
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check

- Early childhood education
- Experience working with children
- Tutoring or teaching experience
- Ability to educate and engage children in fun and interactive activities

Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: $16.55-$17.84 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
