**THE ROLE**
Under the supervision of the Gymnastics Head Coach, the Gymnastics Coach identifies strengths and weaknesses of athletes. They plan, develop and implement training and practice sessions. They nurture and develop athletes' potential skills and abilities. The Gymnastics Coach develops, plans and coordinates competitive schedules and programs. They motivate and prepare athletes for competitive events.

**QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED** Education, Certifications and Licenses**
- Some High School and some years of experience in coaching
- Current National Coaching Certification Program Level 1 in Gymnastics
- Current CPR Level C and First Aid qualifications
- High Five: Principles of Healthy Child Development certificate

**Experience**
- In coaching gymnastics
- In planning, developing and implementing training and practice sessions
- In preparing athletes or teams for competitive events

**Competencies, Skills and Abilities**

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

**LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS**
English Essential, Bilingual an asset
