Shipper/Receiver with Inside Sales Experience

Cambridge, Ontario

**Job Description**:
As a Shipper/Receiver with Inside Sales Experience, you will play a pivotal role in our operations, ensuring the seamless flow of materials while also providing exceptional customer service through inside sales support. Your responsibilities will include:

- Receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming shipments of industrial materials.
- Accurately processing and organizing inventory, ensuring proper storage and accessibility.
- Packing and preparing outgoing shipments, including verifying quantities and items against packing lists and invoices.
- Collaborating with team members to fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately.
- Utilizing shipping software and equipment to generate shipping labels and manage shipments.
- Assisting with inventory management tasks, including periodic stock checks and reconciliations.
- Identifying sales opportunities and upselling products to meet customer needs.
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics, supply chain management, or sales is a plus.
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving roles within an industrial or warehouse setting.
- Proven customer service skills with a background in inside sales or customer support.
- Familiarity with shipping software (e.g., UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager) and inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workflow demands.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
- Fluent in French would be an asset but not essential.

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
