**Electromechanical Technician**
- Mississauga, ON
- $30 per hour
- Monday to Friday, Days
- 12-month Contract

Ian Martin Workforce has partnered with an American corporation that designs, manufactures, and distributes engines, filtration, and power generation products. They are looking to bring on an **Electromechanical Tech** who has the specialized knowledge to create and maintain specifications (drawings and models) of products per company, industry, national, and international standards, while positively impacting the organization's performance.

**You will be doing**__**
- Support build, commissioning, and maintenance of test stands.
- Applies and supports the improvement of processes such as test system specification, design, and validation.
- Makes decisions in the areas of component selection, calibration processes, and operating processes that impact test equipment accuracy, reliability, and operating cost.
- Owns problem resolution for components, products, systems, subsystems, or services.
- Provides independent execution of established work processes and systems.
- Contributes effectively toward team goals, exhibits influence within a workgroup, and continues to develop proficiency in the competency areas critical to success in the role.

- College Degree: Electromechanical Engineering
- Experienced in “hands-on” development of electromechanical prototypes and products.
- Experience with electromechanical systems such as pumps, blowers, sensors, valves, and compressors.
- The ability to understand P & ID, 2D, and 3D CAD drawings is required.
- Basic knowledge of DC motors, motor controllers, DC/DCconverters, electrical wiring, low-high voltage systems is preferred.
