It’s a family owned and serving customers six days a week across Vancouver and the lower mainland, from Abbotsford to Vancouver Island, to Whistler and the Sunshine Coast.

To provide efficient and courteous delivery and pickup of our products to customers across Vancouver area keeping business expansion we are looking **Delivery** **Drivers-Full time to** serve our customers.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:
v Check and count each customer order on pallet as its being loaded onto truck for delivery

v Make sure that each customer order is correct when delivering

v Keep Warehouse/transport Manager informed of delays or waiting while on your run

v Make sure that you follow ALL company procedures that are in place

v Report all tickets, fines and accidents to management ASAP

v Follow the regulated speed on the road

v Make sure that a proper “Pre-trip inspection” is done daily at the start of the shift

v Strictly Follow Road and Driving Safety

v Perform other duties as required or assigned

**Job Requirements**:
v Must have 1-3 years of experience driving 2-5 tons Box type trucks

v A Valid semi-trailer Driver’s License and clean Commercial driver abstract

v Legally entitled to work in Canada minimum of 40 hours a week

v Familiar with Lower Mainland, Vancouver and Tri-city routes

v Experience as a Delivery driver is preferred, Yen Bros. Offer the training and ongoing support and will ensure you are successful in your job

v The ability to lift/unload from 20 Lbs. to 80 Lbs. on a consistent basis, Able to start early morning and able work 5 days a week

v Forklift/Power Jack operational familiarity will be an added advantage (Yen Bros, can provide certification)

v Good attendance Record

v Energetic and carry a positive work ethic

v Able to Speak, read and comprehend English

v Ability to establish and maintain effective and professional working relationship with customers, employees and warehouse managers

v Ability to multitask and deal with constant and demanding road traffic conditions

v Ability to work independently and as part of team

v High level of Integrity and carry excellent work ethic

**Working conditions**:
v Week shift schedule of 5 or 6 days a week

v Overtime as required

v Exposure to wet/cold conditions

v Exposure to road traffic and noise conditions

v **Physically demanding
- required long period of driving, sitting and walking**

v Required to do heavy to moderate lifting on constant basis
