**About Get Active 'N Play**

Get Active ‘N Play is a Toronto-based not-for-profit focused on every kid getting a chance to play and grow up active for life. Thanks to the Canada Summer Jobs grant, we’re hiring youth (ages 18-30) for the summer (9 weeks full time or longer part-time 270hrs total) to promote physical activity and literacy at home, in school or community through online social platforms.

**Job description**

Key Activities:

- Lead learn 2 play pop ups teaching youth and or adults skills through fun games and exercises in Parkdale.
- Help film and act in “How to, pro tips, funny get active content” videos for various sports (Soccer, tennis, basketball, volleyball, etc).
- Create games, challenges and races for people to do.
- Make physical activity fun for people to do.
- Help plan, create and post physical activity and literacy content on our social media (IG/TikTok/FB/Twitter/Pinterest).

We offer:

- A summer job 270 total hrs. 16.55$/hr starting May 15th 2024.

We are looking for the following qualifications:

- You play the previously mentioned sports and have the confidence to teach what you know.
- Great with kids.
- Positive attitude, caring and energetic personality.
- Passion for sport and getting active.
- Post a lot on social media and wants to create get active content (IG/Tiktok is a+).
- You have a computer with stable wifi
- Must provide a complete and current Vulnerable Sector Check.
