**About the Position and Program**: The Little Readers Academy® is an enriched half-day learning and after-school reading program for children aged 3-5, that develops the skills needed to learn and excel - including reading, writing. Little Readers teachers use proprietary materials to teach students vowels, sounds, the alphabet, phonics, reading, writing, vocabulary and comprehension.
**Requirements**:

- Experience working with children (3-5 years of age)
- Education with a focus on primary grades or other equivalent credentials is an asset
- Strong communication skills, written and oral, fluency in English is a must as you are administering an English phonics program
- Strong decision making, planning, organizing skills
- A team player who enjoys working with others
- Experience working with ESL preschool aged children is an asset
- Able to multi-task, and work with multiple children in a learning environment
- Be able to create fun activities that encourages reading
