**Job: Facilities and Maintenance**

**Location**: 33761 Essendene Avenue, Abbotsford

**Job Type**: Part Time (~10-20 hours per week)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Cleaning & Sanitation**:

- Perform regular office cleaning, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping floors, and cleaning windows.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as the kitchen, fridges, and bathrooms, ensuring all spaces are sanitary and well-stocked.
- Empty trash bins and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
- Maintain stock levels of janitorial supplies.
- **Light Maintenance**:

- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as changing furnace filters, meter readings, replacing light bulbs, and making minor repairs.
- Identify and address maintenance issues promptly, ensuring the facility is in optimal working condition. Perform minor "fix-it" tasks as needed, such as tightening loose fixtures, repairing small items, assembling items, or performing related errands.- **Exterior Maintenance**:

- Keep our small exterior grounds clean and well-maintained, including picking up litter and ensuring walkways are clear.
- Clean outside windows as necessary to maintain a neat appearance. Conduct seasonal tasks such as light shoveling and salting walkways during winter months.- **Emergency Response**:

- Act as the first point of contact for any facilities-related emergencies, responding promptly to help address and resolve issues.
- Coordinate with external vendors or contractors for larger maintenance or repair tasks when needed.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude in identifying tasks that need to be completed.
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or janitorial services, with general home maintenance is important.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and techniques.
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
